Hesters Way Early Years
Hesters Way Early Years is a warm, community‑focused Early Years Education setting located in the heart of Cheltenham. As part of Aspire Foundation, we provide high‑quality childcare and a nurturing learning environment for children aged 2–4. Our strong links with Hesters Way Primary School and other local schools help us support smooth transitions and build meaningful relationships with families across the community.
A Bright, Stimulating Environment for Early Learning
Our setting features two bright, spacious, and welcoming rooms, each with free‑flow access to one of our fantastic outdoor areas. Children enjoy exploring a dedicated enclosed space for bike riding and ball games, a sensory garden, a small trim‑trail area, and a forest school space. These environments offer endless opportunities for physical development, imaginative play, and nature‑based learning.
We also have access to the Forest School and playing field at Hesters Way Primary School, giving children the chance to experience outdoor learning, teamwork, and exploration in a natural environment.
Additional facilities include a Soft Play area attached to the large preschool room, which all children can access throughout the week. This supports physical development, confidence, and sensory exploration - key elements of high‑quality Early Years Education.
Meet Our Early Years Team

PaigeEarly Years Lead
Paige
I am the Early Years Lead, SENCO, and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at Hester's Way Children's Centre. I began my childcare career in 2018, and for six of those eight years I've been proud to work here at Hester's Way. During this time, I've built strong relationships with the local community, outside professionals, families, and of course the children. It's especially rewarding to see so many families return to us over the years.
My passion lies in supporting children with additional needs and helping to shape the very beginning of their educational journey - making a positive difference for both them and their families.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and going to concerts.

Gina
My name is Georgina, but the children usually call me Gina, Gi, or even GiGi. I am the Senior Early Years Educator and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead here at Hester's Way. I've worked in childcare for 20 years, and I've spent the last 11 of those proudly based at Hester's Way. I love watching the children grow in confidence and independence, and it's always wonderful to welcome returning families back into the setting.
At home, I have a little boy, a lovely husband, and a playful puppy named Arlo. I enjoy holidays in Cornwall, listening to music, and absolutely love Christmas. I'm happiest when things feel cosy, and autumn is my favourite season.

Danielle
My name is Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. I'm a Level 3 Practitioner and have been working with children for 17 years. Early in my career, I spent four years in Turkey working as a children's entertainer, supporting young people from a wide range of nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds. This experience really shaped my love for music, movement, and outdoor learning - especially Forest School activities.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and spending quality time with my husband and our two boys.

I have worked with the Aspire Foundation for over 10 years and am currently a Level 3 Early Years Educator at Hester's Way. I am passionate about supporting children's development and wellbeing, and I find my role incredibly rewarding - especially watching children grow, reach new milestones, and gain confidence in their learning.
Outside of work, I'm a proud parent of two children. I love going on adventures with family and friends and creating lasting memories together.

Lauren
I have been part of the Aspire Foundation for the past six years. I bring a warm, outgoing personality to my role and truly believe that outdoor play offers some of the best holistic opportunities for children's growth and development. I bring plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and care to every session, ensuring each child feels supported and inspired.
In my personal life, I'm a parent of three, have a dog named Max, and have been happily married since 2013. I enjoy investing in my own personal development through running, hiking, and reading. When it's time to unwind, I love a good movie or a family board game.

ZoeEarly Years Apprentice
Zoe
I am the Early Years Apprentice at Hester's Way. I first joined the team as a volunteer and loved the work so much that I decided to train for a qualification in Early Years. I currently work in the two‑year‑old room, but I've also gained valuable experience in the Pre‑School room.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my two daughters.
As part of Aspire Foundation, our team receives ongoing training to ensure we deliver the highest standards of childcare and early learning.
Our Rooms & Learning Spaces
Explorers Room
In Explorers, our aim is to help children feel comfortable, secure, and confident as they settle in - especially if it’s their first time spending time away from their parents. We understand that this transition can be emotional for both children and their parents/carers, and we’re here to support everyone through it.
We offer a wide range of engaging activities designed to develop communication skills, build confidence, encourage playing alongside others, and help children learn simple routines and boundaries. Most importantly, we make sure they have plenty of opportunities to get messy, explore, and simply have fun!
Preschool Room
In preschool we are working alongside parents, developing essential skills that will prepare the children for when they start school. We take time to listen to the children and follow their lead, adapting our teaching to suit their individual pace and interests. Every child is unique, and our goal is always to help each one grow in confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
