Early Years Policies & Procedures
Aspire Foundation has robust Early Years policies and procedures in place to ensure that we deliver safe, high‑quality services in line with current legislation, the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and Ofsted requirements. These policies guide our practice across our nurseries and Children & Family Centres in Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the surrounding areas, ensuring that children receive the best possible care, learning and support.
Safeguarding & Child Protection
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount. We create environments where children feel secure, are encouraged to talk, and know they will be listened to. All staff receive regular child protection training to help them identify welfare concerns and take appropriate action when safeguarding issues arise. We work closely with partner agencies to ensure every child is protected and supported.
Attendance Policy
Regular attendance is essential for children’s learning, development and wellbeing. This policy explains how we promote consistent attendance, monitor absences, address safeguarding concerns linked to non‑attendance, and support families to maintain regular nursery attendance.
Attendance PolicyCharging & Invoicing Policy
Aspire Foundation ensures that all 15‑ and 30‑hour Early Years entitlements are completely free at the point of use. Any charges for optional or supplementary services are voluntary, transparent and itemised separately, in accordance with Department for Education (DfE) guidance.

Food and Nutrition Policy
We are committed to providing nutritious, balanced snacks in a safe and inclusive environment. Our approach promotes healthy eating habits from an early age, respects cultural and dietary needs, and carefully manages allergies. We work in partnership with parents and carers by sharing guidance on healthy eating and supporting nutritious packed lunches.
EYFS Policy
We aim to help every child reach their full potential through a caring, safe and stimulating environment. Our curriculum offers a balance of adult‑led and child‑initiated activities, encouraging independence, confidence and a love of learning. By valuing each child as an individual, celebrating diversity and working closely with parents, we support children’s development and prepare them for school and lifelong learning.
Parent & Carer Code of Conduct
We value strong, respectful partnerships with parents and carers. To maintain a safe and positive environment for children, families and staff, we have a zero‑tolerance approach to abusive or aggressive behaviour. Concerns are always addressed constructively through our Complaints Procedure, and we encourage parents to remain actively involved in the life of our settings.
